Here is some of the early on pictures of the engine. 383 stroker, Scat balanced crank, 5.7 I-Beam Rods with 383 clearance, ProComp Aluminum Heads, ProComp Dual Plane Intake Manifold -with airspace under plenum for cooler fuel charge, 65k HEI Distributor, C.A.T. Gear Drive Timing Gears -noisy, PROBE Forged pistions -30 over, Modified 7 qt. oil pan, Electric waterpump.benno3231 wrote:That is excellent work! Later we switched from the HEI to a fancy nascar ignition box and coil, mainly to try and make room for a hood.
