Fresh and clean, I like it! I'm sure I've said this many times, but there's no better feeling than fixing PO hacks. I'm also a fan of the Redline MT fluids and have had zero complaints with any vehicle I have put it in.

Indeed! Gosh, I hope no-one ever feels that why when they buy a vehicle from me. :(

Turn wrenches Thursday?

Here's the problem. Yup time to replace. Thank you little light on the dash.

To get the rotors off, removed this ring. I think this is a hubcentric spacer ring left over from the aftermarket wheels it had on it previously and they never got removed when the factory wheels went on. They were kinda froze in place.

Cleaned the rotors up, yes I sanded them to get the lip off to measure the width. #gotnomicrometerproblems Got a full 1.5mm left of wear left on these. Not sure what that translates into miles  :screwy: meh

Putting it back together, everything gets anti-seize

Hehe, who can spot the problem here :retard: :retard: :retard:

Adjusting the emergency brake. Had never worked. Works now :unibrow:

Funny story. So I finished, put the wheels on, gently tightened the lugs, set her down off the jack stands and drove off to an appointment I had somewhat in a hurry. 2 blocks down the neighborhood, I hear clunk clunk in sync with wheel rotation. < light bulb moment > drive slowly back to the house get torque wrench and tighten the lugs. I need a lockout tag for the steering wheel I think.

Keep em frosty my friends.
