This is great info!... hopefully I will have the Caddy ready for the first bozo local event... Is there a race class for a VR6 mk1 with LSD? ~How many other Bozeman VW club members would be in this class? Thanks... Jim

I am pretty sure that would be classed in XP, which is X Prepared, since the VR6 never came in a MK1. That is pretty much an open class. YOu may have noone in your class, or you may have some heavy competition. There is only one guy I know of that runs in XP around here and he runs a 500+ hp Shelby Cobra clone. You are going to need to do some serious suspension setup with a VR in a caddy......

I agree... I don't think autocross is in the cards for the vr6 caddy project.
I have never driven one of these courses and this setup is probably not the best way to start out. Thanks for the info.

BUT you do need to come out and run a few times for fun! No need to be competitive! Just have fun! You are always welcome to race at all events.
