Took just a few pics the other day while i was helping out the owner of these cars. He a older guy with a bunch of air-cooled cars and parts.. Cool as hell!
He is also into Corvairs. 6cyl air-cooled with 4 carbs, and he has fatory turbo set up for the carbs. I'll be working on these cars this winter with him. and i hope to god i will end up with a BUS!! i want this 71 westy poptop so bad.

holy shit that is a red single cab! :eek: I have been after one for about 3 years, something local. :banghead: that looks like the yard on north montana, almost to sierra road, back behind al roses garage, is that right 4est?

Good eye... Myrl rose.

This guy rents from and is myrls friend. They do nothing with that shop/yard, shame cause its got a paint booth and two lifts.

Yep its a 67 single cab.. Sweet but its kinda ruff. def a good project. title is clear :thumbsup:

That single cab is a little earlier than '67. Might be a 57. I know the tail lights were enlarged in 62, this bus has the holes for the small glass lights. Also, the air vents on the sides have the louvers going out, that was changed in 62 to be flush mounted with the body. I don't see a gas gauge on the left either.
