Dropped the old curtains off with me mom to get redone in navy blue. Picked up a couple shinny caps for one side, the other two are still rusty style. Should have it dressed up this fall in time to park it.

I wanted to make the bus more suited for long distance trips. Long distance meaning beyond towing distance from my house. I'd like to be able to increase it's range to state wide, I'm not traveling to Alaska in it, though the previous owner did. So this spring I replaced the cracked rear tires with new snow tires for some extra offroad traction and mad a CIP order. The bus now has parking break thanks to new cables, it's never had one since I've owned it. Now I don't always have to shut it off when I get out and I figure it's a good idea to have a backup plan when I'm driving over McDonald Pass. I also replaced the air vent grills in the dash, put the volkswagen emblem on the back, and installed a 3-guage pod on the dash. Now the oil pressure guage doesn't hang by it's wire and point towards the floor. As an added bonus it got a new USGS quadrant map of it's own, so now it doesn't have to share. Good for finding new camping spots and marking favorites. As always, it's got a list of little things still to do on it, but they are all minor and can be done in their own time.

I know this thread is useless without pictures, but I'm waiting for a new computer and my old one just ain't got the power Ciptin!

Just realized I owe some updated pictures on this. Idling is rough and power is cutting out. Pretty sure it's the same ethanol issue as the Square had, so that sould be an easy fix. Think my front main seal is toast because I'm checking my gas and filling my oil. Afraid it's grounded till I get that fixed. Trouble is it won't fit in my garage, so I'm not looking forward to dropping the motor in my dirt driveway, but it has to be done.
